Biography

Top 5 artist Jason Stan has been described as one of Australia's most gifted fully independent singer/songwriters.

Born September 7 in Australia, Stan was discovered by program manager Bruce Neels from one of Australia's largest radio stations 7LA in late 1996. Neels had been handed a copy of Jason's debut single "My Girl" and liked what he heard enough to begin airing the song on the national radio station. Neels' efforts would soon pay off and would later lead to the Herald Sun reporting on Jason's first ever Top 5 single.

Since then Jason has gone ahead to release 4 studio albums and a stream of singles including the highly anticipated "Wellington Road", firmly cementing himself as not only a stellar singer but one of Australia's most prolific independent songwriters as well.

A recent pop release by Jason titled "Fall From Grace" gained the attention of Music manager and publisher Keith Welsh (Savage Garden) and now in 2011 critics have been universal in their praise for Jason's latest single "Wellington Road" as a beautifully crafted song filled with elaborate string sections and hauntingly honest and pin poited lyrics. Jason is in the songwriter's seat once again for this amazing and moving ballad. Produced in April of 2011, "Wellington Road" has gone ahead to be the highest selling single release of Jason's career even outselling his Top 5 single of 1996 "My Girl".

In September of 2011, Jason was chosen as the voice of the new NRL theme song "We Gotta Go On" written by Lawrie Jay and soon to be released nationally.

Live scene wise, in October of 2007 Jason was hand picked to portray Australian rock & roll legend Johnny O'Keefe in the Australia wide musical stage presentation of "Sing Sing Sing - The JOK Show" touring Australia under musical director Scot Robin.

In the corporate scene, for over 7 years Jason has fronted two of the most successful corporate event bands in the country Bustagroove and Reflections Of whilst simultaneouslyy moving forward with his own self named fan driven live shows.

Jason has fronted the major corporate functions of the AFL, Coca Cola Amatil, Mc Kinsey & Company, ANZ Australia, Westpac, Loreal, Hamilton Island Open Air, Alice Springs Convention Centre and so many more right accross the country.

On screen, Jason has recently appeared on Hey Hey It's Saturday, Neighbours, Home & Away, Good Morning Australia as well as a host of other TV shows and is the face of the latest Bonnie Babes Foundation TV commercial. His versatile vocals are heard throughout the Australia wide Government Lodge a Job campaign and the Royal Launceston Show as well as being the writer and producer for each of their colaborating jingles.
